Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Clinical Decision Unit. The CNC will coordinate patient-centered care, collaborate with leadership, and support staff through coaching and scheduling to ensure exceptional outcomes.

A one-year RN experience is required, with ADN at minimum and RN licensure in NC; BSN preferred. The role offers a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and belongs to a hospital known for Magnet designation and Level II

Qualifications

• Required Experience: One year of RN experience.
• Preferred Experience: Hospital nursing experience.
• Required Education: ADN.
• Preferred Education: BSN.
• Required License Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC license may apply.
• Required Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
• Preferred Certification: National Certification in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.
