Job summary

University at Buffalo is seeking a Clinical Data Manager to support interdisciplinary clinical data management efforts within VPHS Research Administration and Finance. You will interface with statisticians, investigators, and external partners to troubleshoot issues and maintain data standards.

The role involves planning data management, designing EDC systems, and leading data projects while training assistants. Strong SAS, Python/R skills, and knowledge of GCDMP are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in appropriate field.
Experience with Good Clinical Data Management Practices and regulatory requirements.
Experience with Clinical EDC systems and data coding/classification systems.
Strong data management and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Participate in study planning and data management design.
Assist with study implementation and design of EDC systems, eCRFs, and database schema.
Perform QA/QC tasks per GCDMP, DMPs, and SAPs.
Assist with data reporting and optimization of data collection processes.
Lead data management and statistical projects with project management skills.
