UCB seeks a Clinical Data Layer Lead to own the vision, governance, and ongoing development of the Clinical Data Layer at our Raleigh, NC site. As Functional System Owner, you will enable secure data movement from source systems into trusted data products, supporting study delivery, analytics, and AI-enabled workflows across the clinical development lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Biometrics & Data Science and partner across Clinical Data Management, Operations, Medical, Safety, Regulatory

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, clinical informatics, life sciences, technology, statistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in clinical development, biometrics, clinical data management, or related pharmaceutical R&D discipline.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation involving clinical data and cross-functional stakeholders in regulated environments.

Responsabilidades

• Define and communicate the long-term vision, roadmap, investment case, and business strategy for the Clinical Data Layer.
• Establish governance for data products, metadata, reference data, quality controls, access, stewardship, and measures of value.
• Partner with architecture and technology teams to enable scalable integration and interoperable data flows.
• Shape safe, high-value AI, automation, semantic models, and knowledge graphs.
• Build cross-functional alignment and drive adoption through training and change management.
• Ensure regulated use with compliance, validation support, data integrity, auditability, and risk management.
