Talent Groups seeks a Clinical Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust clinical data pipelines, mapping frameworks, and transformation specifications. Qualifications

• Experience in clinical data mapping and integration.
• In-depth knowledge of FHIR and HL7 standards.
• Hands-on with OMOP CDM or similar models.
• Proficiency with SQL and data manipulation.
• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Data Mapping & Transformation: Design and implement data mapping and transformation specifications for various clinical data standards and medical coding terminologies.
• Interoperability Standards Implementation: Work extensively with FHIR and HL7 messaging standards to ingest, parse, and structure clinical data.
• Standardized Health Data Models: Map and transform raw clinical data into common data models, such as OMOP CDM, to support analytics and research.
• Medical Coding Integration: Leverage and manage ICD-10, LOINC, RxNorm, and SNOMED CT, ensuring semantic consistency and accuracy.
• Pipeline Development & Maintenance: Build scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows to process large-scale healthcare datasets securely.
• Collaboration: Partner with clinical informatics, data science, and software engineering teams to understand data requirements.
