Fortrea is seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Data Specialist – Coordinator based in Costa Rica to support external data integration and ensure timely, high-quality trial data.

You will coordinate with internal teams and vendors, perform data quality checks, and contribute to study deliverables under seasoned data leads, while growing your career in a collaborative, global clinical data management environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Around 1+ year of experience in clinical research or drug development.
• Basic understanding of clinical trials, ICH-GCP, and data quality principles.
• Familiarity with clinical data standards (CDISC, SDTM, ADaM).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition, review, and integration of external clinical trial data throughout the study lifecycle.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure data delivery.
• Perform data quality checks and help resolve discrepancies.
• Contribute to study deliverables under guidance of data leads.
• Participate in study meetings and task coordination.
• Help prioritize tasks and manage timelines, escalating issues as needed.
• Work across multiple studies with diverse data sources and therapeutic areas.
