Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities focused on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of clinical data, and its compliance with regulatory standards and revenue initiatives
• Provide expertise in coding and classification systems to healthcare providers, with focus on inpatient and ambulatory surgery
• Drive improvements in documentation, reimbursement and the revenue cycle; direct and evaluate performance of assigned staff
• Perform chart, internal/external coding, DRG and APG reviews to ensure compliance with established coding principles
