Job summary

InstantServe LLC is seeking an experienced data integration professional to modernize client systems through SAS, Python, and R-based solutions. The role emphasizes ingesting eICRs, building dashboards, and automating clinical-review workflows.

You will translate business needs into technical requirements, validate automated data integrations, and collaborate across program, epidemiology, and technical teams to ensure data integrity and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years developing, testing, maintaining SAS, Python, or similar scripts.

Support modernization of the client through data integration, automation, dashboards, and electronic case reporting. Assess business requirements and develop solutions to ingest electronic initial case reports (eICRs), populate registry fields, and reduce manual review.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess integration needs and document business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain programs using SAS, Python, R, or similar tools.
• Build dashboards and automate data ingestion, validation, and clinical-review workflows.
• Test data accuracy, completeness, matching, and integration reliability.
• Document code, workflows, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with program, epidemiology, and technical teams.

Required Experience — 8+ Years

• Developing, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting SAS, Python, R, or similar scripts.
• System integration, dashboard development, and workflow automation.
• Working with complex health, public health, or administrative data, including databases and querying.
• Translating business needs into technical requirements and solutions.
• Testing and validating automated data integrations.
• Documenting code, specifications, and procedures.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience — 2+ Years

• eCR/eICR, EHR, or Health Information Exchange.
• HL7, XML, FHIR, SNOMED CT, or other clinical terminology standards.
• SQL, relational databases, public health registries, data matching, and automated ETL pipelines
