Job summary

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Clinical Data Abstractor to review medical records and extract key clinical information for quality reporting programs and registries. You will work with the Quality and Outcomes team to support data collection, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong medical terminology knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain data confidentiality while collaborating with clinicians and leadership

Qualifications

• Medical terminology knowledge required.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and abstract clinical information per regulatory and registry specifications.
• Enter findings into computerized systems for reporting and analysis.
• Support cardiovascular service line quality outcomes through accurate data collection and reporting.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and abstraction guidelines.
• Collaborate with clinicians on quality measure definitions and reporting.
