Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Clinical Customer Service Representative to serve as the central point of contact on the care unit for patients, families, visitors and the health care team. The role demands professional, friendly, and efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 6 months in healthcare or office settings, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Substantial interpersonal skills are needed to interact with patients, families and medical staff.
• Ability to initiate and build positive relationships following Johns Hopkins Customer Service standards.

The Clinical Customer Service Representativeworks as the central point on the care unit for patients, families, visitors and members of the health care team. This is a fast-paced position that requires professional, friendly and efficient performance of the daily duties. The ideal candidate will possess the highest level of Customer Service skills, knowledge of information & computer systems, the ability to work and assist with Nursing staff & Administrative staff, all in the effort to meet the needs of the unit, department in accordance to Johns Hopkins Hospital policy and procedures.”

Salary Range:

Minimum $17.99/hour - Maximum $20.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
