Job summary

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited University.
• Must be able to obtain a faculty appointment (open rank) at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
• Experience in medical education and curriculum development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to ensure clinical skills and reasoning are integrated into pre-clerkship and clerkship curricula.
• Lead curriculum development, assessment and grading activities for Family Medicine.
• Coordinate with LIC sites to align learning objectives and competencies across sites.
• Train house staff and faculty on curricular changes and provide ongoing support.
• Organize grading committees and standard setting across LIC sites and specialty clerkships.
• Engage in direct student teaching as a preceptor or LIC preceptor.
