Clinical Credentialing and Compliance Coordinator

About the Role:

The Clinical Credentialing and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for supporting and maintaining the initial and ongoing credentialing processes for all clinical staff and organizational locations. This role ensures compliance with licensing, regulatory, and accreditation standards, contributing to high-quality and legally compliant clinical operations.

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience/Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) of practice.
  • 3 years of compliance experience in a clinical environment.
  • Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm
  • Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitate the completion of credentialing and recredentialing requirements for nurse practitioners, physicians, and other clinical staff.
  • Coordinate the timely submission and renewal of all required licenses, permits, and certifications.
  • Ensure credentialing practices align with government regulations and accrediting body standards.
  • Act as a liaison between clinical teams, leadership, and regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with credentialing and licensing standards.
  • Monitor and track credentialing status, expirations, and documentation to maintain continuous compliance.
  • Oversee adherence to accreditation standards across the organization and lead efforts to ensure readiness for accreditation surveys and inspections.
  • Support the development and refinement of credentialing policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, HR, and Operations teams to resolve discrepancies and implement improvements.

There may be prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, reading, as well as driving or riding in transport vehicles. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with patients, vendors, and staff.
