Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Clinical Coordinator (RN) for the Obstetrics Department in Galion. The role directs daily operations, supports the Nurse Manager, and assumes administrative duties when needed to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requires Ohio RN licensure with ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and STABLE certifications. Preferred supervisory experience and strong teamwork across hospital units are valued at Avita Health System.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire date.
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire date.
• NRP certification within 6 months of hire date (OB/ED).
• TNCC within 1 year of hire date (ED).
• STABLE (OB) within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates day-to-day operations of the obstetrics unit.
• Assist the Nurse Manager as needed on a daily basis.
• Assume administrative responsibility in the Nurse Manager's absence.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Coordinator (RN) to join our ObstetricsDepartment at our Galion location.

Position Overview

Directs and coordinates the day-to-day operations of departmental unit; assists the Nurse Manager as needed on a daily basis; and assumes administrative responsibility in the absence of the Nurse Manager. The Coordinator will support the Organizational Mission and Values and adhere to the employee standards of behavior.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Licensed Registered Nurse in the Staff of Ohio


• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date (ALL)


• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire date (ALL)


• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire date (Med Surge, ICU, ED only)


• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP within 6 months of hire date (OB and ED only)


• TNCC or equivalent within 1 year of hire (ED only)


• Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab work and Emotional (STABLE) (OB only).

Preferred:

• Previous supervisory experience.


• 3 or more working as a RN in a hospital setting
