Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Clinical Coordinator (Registered Nurse) to lead unit operations, coordinate staffing, and guide patient care on a shift basis. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, cost-conscious care while adhering to policy and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates hold an Illinois RN license, a baccalaureate nursing degree, and 2+ years in a clinical specialty with CPR/BLS certification; Magnet certification is preferred and may be

Qualificações

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.
• Two or more years in clinical specialty.
• Magnet recognized certification or obtain within 1 year (preferred).
• CPR – Basic Life Support.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitates unit operations on a shift basis according to policy, procedure and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates unit-based staffing assignments on a shift basis to achieve high quality care.
• Directs patient care provided by staff nurses and support personnel for a specific shift.
• Champions new initiatives and helps in unit/departmental committees.
• Communicates with patients and significant others about nursing care.
• Implements action plans to provide safe, quality care.
