Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Clinical Coordinator Respiratory Therapy to lead education and compliance efforts. You will partner with leadership to drive quality, policy development, and training across departments, ensuring safe patient care and regulatory alignment.

The role requires leadership in Respiratory Care, NBRC credentials, a Texas license, and a Bachelor’s degree, with strong collaboration across physicians and nursing teams.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care recognized by NBRC.
• Three years leadership experience in Respiratory Care required.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• RRT or RPFT by NBRC upon hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.
• Bachelor Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the leadership team on respiratory competencies and education.
• Assist Director with department policies and procedures development.
• Monitor collection, documentation, and reporting of quality data.
• Assist with monitoring blood gas analyzers and CAPS accreditation compliance.
• Organize training for the Respiratory Therapy Department, Nursing and Physicians.
• Assist in evaluating department supply needs to optimize patient care.
• Assist Director with staffing assignments and interdepartmental meetings.
