Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Care Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day functions of the department under medical direction. You will collaborate with leadership to implement a quality assurance program and ensure compliance with current standards.

The role requires leading staff, coordinating scheduling, orientation, and adhering to policies while maintaining proper supplies and budget considerations for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage within a budget and coordinate across departments.

Education/Training

• Graduate of an AMA approved program for Respiratory Care.
• AS or BA/BS preferred.

Licenses/Certification

• Current MA Respiratory license
• RRT Required
• NRP Required
• BLS Required

Job Profile Summary

Oversees and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Respiratory Department and collaborates with the Director to develop and implement education, facilitate clinical operations, and support daily operations. They are responsible for assisting with staff selection, orientation of staff, scheduling staff, ensuring policy and procedures reflect current practice standards as well as ensuring Respiratory Department is stocked with adequate and appropriate supplies.

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to perform all the functions contained in the Respiratory Therapist’s Job Descriptions.

• Able to communicate effectively with all age groups
• Command of verbal and written English, demonstration of clinical competence, ability to set up a variety of clinical equipment.

Salary Range: $38.07-$59.08
