Job summary

Orbis Education is seeking a Clinical Faculty Coordinator in Auburn, WA to foster strong clinical partnerships and support an accelerated BSN program with Pacific Lutheran University. The role centers on onsite collaboration with PLU and clinical sites in the Greater Seattle area.

You will maintain relationships with clinical partners, coordinate schedules, and help align clinical experiences with program outcomes while supporting nursing students and faculty.

Qualifications

MSN preferred; BSN required.
Unencumbered WA RN license.
Two years teaching experience as a preceptor, adjunct clinical instructor, or classroom/lab.
Able to work with adult learners from diverse backgrounds.
Strong oral and written communication; ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Establish, develop and maintain clinical partnerships in the Greater Seattle area.
Coordinate alignment of clinical experiences with course and program outcomes.
Serve as liaison between clinical staff, faculty, and students to resolve issues.
Prepare and oversee clinical schedule with PLU and Orbis leadership.
Monitor attendance and manage clinical makeup requirements.

Location: 1002 15th Street SW Auburn WA

Schedule: Onsite Mon-Fri with flex for clinical visits

Benefits: full benefits portfolio including tuition for employees and dependents

Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000 annually

What You Will Do

Establish, develop and maintain clinical partnerships in the Greater Seattle area
Work in conjunction with course faculty to establish alignment of clinical experiences with course and program outcomes/goals.
Serve as the first point-of-contact for resolution of clinical personnel issues that may arise between staff at the clinical site and clinical faculty and students.
Prepare and oversee clinical schedule in coordination with PLU and Orbis leadership
Monitor clinical attendance and manage clinical makeups.

What You Will Have

Master of Science in Nursing preferred, BSN required
Unencumbered WA RN License
Two years combined teaching experience as a preceptor, adjunct clinical instructor, or classroom/lab
Able to meet challenges of adult learners with diverse backgrounds; Self-directed and innovative; Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Able to build strong working relationships, communicate on a variety of educational levels and work effectively in a team.
