Job summary
Pensacola State College is seeking a Clinical Coordinator, Health Sciences to lead the Center for Patient Simulation Training and coordinate clinicals across health-related programs. The position requires a master's degree in nursing, an active Florida RN license, and several years of clinical and managerial nursing experience, with background checks and drug screening
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current unencumbered Florida Registered Nurse license.
- Two years of clinical nursing experience.
- Teaching experience in practical and/or associate degree nursing programs.
- Managerial experience in nursing.
- Successful results of a criminal background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall supervision and management of the Center for Patient Simulation Training.
- Coordinate clinicals for all health-related programs.
- Assist with allied health and nursing laboratories.
- Develop, promote, and offer quality classroom instruction; curriculum review and development.
- Support student recruitment and academic advising.
- Ensure clinical compliance for faculty and students.
- Assist in course scheduling, ordering books, and requisitioning supplies.
- Evaluate program goals for instruction and teaching/learning outcomes.
