Job summary

Star Sleep & Wellness in Dallas is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to join our compassionate sleep medicine team. You will manage a daily patient column, coordinate appointments, and support both medical and dental providers under supervision of the Medical Director.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, relationship-driven, and comfortable working independently or with a team. Education in healthcare is not required and training is provided to ensure success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a column of in-person patients daily and coordinate communications around appointments.
  • Adhere to the standard of care established by the Medical Director.
  • Establish a relationship with the patient to ensure continuity of care.
  • Perform clinical tasks including vitals, intra-oral scans, oral photos, pharyngometer, and rhinometer.
  • Educate patients about treatment options and plans.
  • Assist with adjusting treatment plans during post-care/post-care appointments.
  • Support providers by conducting comprehensive patient pass-offs.
  • Send orders to labs with proper documentation when treatment advances.
  • Take detailed notes and complete patient charts timely and accurately.
  • Handle scheduling and patient payments with high accuracy.
  • Upload required documents into EMR software when necessary.

About the Role

Star Sleep & Wellness is ready to welcome new talent to our Clinical Team at our Dallas location!

We are excited to continue the growth of our practice with new additions to the team that are passionate about patient care and can add value to our workplace culture.

As a key member of our Clinical Team, you will collaborate closely with our doctors and mid-level providers to diagnose and treat sleep disorders. You will also manage your own patient column and handle a variety of appointment types daily. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and within a team. While education and experience in the medical field is appreciated, this is not required. We are willing to train individuals with a desire to work in healthcare! All new team members receive comprehensive, in-depth training to ensure their success in the role.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. While bilingual proficiency is preferred, it is not a requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support medical and dental providers by conducting comprehensive patient pass offs.
  • Send orders to labs with appropriate documentation when patients move forward with treatment.
  • Take detailed notes throughout appointments and complete patient charts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Complete duties related to scheduling and patient payments with a high level of accuracy.
  • Uploading required documents into EMR software when necessary
