Job summary

Springbrook NY, Inc in New York is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to supervise educational and clinical programming for children in a NY Chapter 853 residential school program.

You will observe learning behaviors, evaluate progress, coordinate activities, provide staff training, and support leadership with administrative tasks while adhering to program policies.

This role requires supervisory experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication, data collection, and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s and NYS licensure/certification preferred.
• Supervisory experience required.

• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to design appropriate data collection systems and interpret results.
• Proficiency in or knowledge of using Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word; willing to learn other software
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. independently and assist in lifting heavier weights
• Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required
• Be able to perform all physical interventions
• Adhere to policy, oversight regulations and ethical guidelines

Responsibilities

• Recommend evidence-based methods of assessment and instruction
• Supervise staff members as assigned (monthly COUNT meeting, approve timesheets, provide corrective action and training, etc.)
• Coordinate and schedule student program reviews in collaboration with CSE chair and lead teacher/s; ensure appropriate documentation and follow through
• Manage projects and outcomes based on Dept. initiatives and goals
• Participate in screenings of new students when needed to determine appropriateness of referral
• Conduct site checks for quality assurance and programmatic compliance
• Ensure carryover and consistency of student programming across settings (home and school)
• Assess and improve staff competencies, service plan implementation and knowledge base using Behavior Skills Training methods
• Support leadership team in applicable administrative functions and initiatives
• Support student acquisition of IEP and BSP goals
• Adhere to all applicable agency policies, oversight regulations and ethical guidelines
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50 lbs.
