Allara is looking for a Clinical Concierge Agent to provide compassionate, detail-oriented support to both providers and patients, ensuring seamless communication and efficient coordination of medical needs. This role is a key part of the care team, handling back-office tasks, triaging provider requests, and managing medical workflows while also assisting patients via phone, email, and in-app messaging.

The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centric healthcare environment. They are comfortable supporting providers, handling sensitive patient data, and ensuring that all necessary medical actions are processed accurately and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Allara's patients and providers by ensuring that lab orders, prescription refills, and pre-authorizations are fulfilled accurately and promptly.
  • Manages faxed requests, medical documentation, and patient forms while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Relay provider updates, care recommendations, and medical actions to patients professionally and compassionately.
  • Provide empathetic, patient-centric support via phone, email, and in-app messaging, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Assist patients with scheduling, telehealth services, and general inquiries about their care plans and Allara's offerings.
  • Offer personalized assistance, helping patients navigate their healthcare journey with compassion and professionalism.
  • Ensure accuracy in relaying patient information between providers, patients, and internal teams.
  • Stay informed about Allara's clinical workflows and processes to provide seamless provider support.

Experience & Skills

The ideal candidate has experience in customer support or healthcare coordination roles and is passionate about delivering empathetic, high-quality service. They excel at navigating complex medical workflows, maintaining accuracy in sensitive information, and problem-solving to ensure a seamless patient experience. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and technical proficiency are essential for success in this role.

  • Must have previous experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • 1.5+ years of experience in a support role, such as medical reception, patient coordination, or telehealth support.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and navigate complex conversations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem-solve creatively, ensuring smooth coordination of medical requests.
  • Strong technical skills, comfortable navigating multiple systems and working with sensitive data.
  • Medical reception experience and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems preferred.
  • A quiet, private workspace with reliable internet to support confidential patient communications.

What Allara Offers
