Job summary

Cumberland Family Medical Center seeks a CMA/LPN/RN for its Women’s Health practice. You will support providers, manage patient flow, document vitals, and assist in procedures while maintaining a welcoming, patient-centered environment in rural Kentucky.

Ideal candidates are passionate about women’s health, collaborative team members, and committed to delivering compassionate care in a busy FQHC setting. Full-time, in-person schedule with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have valid certification or license.
• CPR Certification.
• Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with and keep supervisor informed of clinical activities, needs, and problems related to patient care.
• Complies with established patient care standards and maintains policies, safety and infection control.
• Greet patients and escort to exam room; take vitals and record medical information.
• Prepare patient room for exam and assist provider in procedures as necessary.
• Complete ordered lab procedures and administer IM or Sub Q injections including immunizations.
• Wound care and suture removal as directed by provider; communicate results to provider.
• Discharge patient to receptionist; restock supplies and maintain clean, safe exam rooms.
• Maintain professional growth through seminars and educational sessions; other duties as assigned.
