Blue Ridge Medical Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to work with providers and nursing staff to ensure efficient clinic operations. The role focuses on patient flow, rooming, and support in exams, tests, and treatment as directed by the clinician.
Requirements include completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with 1–2 years of clinical experience, CPR certification, and strong communication skills. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; flexibility for variable hours may apply.

The Certified Medical Assistant will function in conjunction with a medical provider to assist in the provision of professional medical care and nursing support. Duties include performing as a member of the team and assisting in the administration and maintenance of an efficiently operated clinic. May be assigned to special projects such as primary care/mental health integration or to a satellite site. The Certified Medical Assistant must demonstrate a sincere dedication and loyalty to the mission, vision and core values of BRMC. Primary responsibility will be patient flow, including:
Compensation Range: $$17.55/hr - $20.13/hr
Must be able to work with all levels of employees and providers and be a team player; must maintain confidentiality; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects; and must have knowledge of and ability to work with computer programs (MS Office, EHR, etc.) and office equipment used in clinical settings.
