Job summary

The Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services (CASES) in New York is seeking a Clinical Case Coordinator to help individuals on Supervised Release navigate their plans and access essential services.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years’ experience in human services with individuals in the criminal justice system.
  • Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or equivalent (LMSW/LMHC preferred).
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals on Supervised Release to navigate their plans and access services.
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to coordinate care and resources.

Salary: The salary for the Clinical Case Coordinator role is $71,080 per year.

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Location: Various locations, Brooklyn, Bronx or Manhattan.

Workplace Flexibility: Hybrid: Staff may work remotely one day per week after successfully demonstrating an understanding of their job responsibilities following the first 30 days of onboarding.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working in human services with individuals with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and involvement in the criminal justice system.
  • Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, or a comparable professional degree (Preferred LMSW or LMHC).
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish speaking preferred).
  • Extensive knowledge of community treatment, support services, and resources.
  • Knowledge of the criminal justice system, court processes, and alternatives to detention/incarceration services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of the legal and social service systems related to Supervised Release.
