Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• CNA/MA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides or assists patients with mobilization in a safe, efficient and respectful manner.
• Reviews and follows activity orders in EMR including activity restrictions and limitations to mobilization.
• Greets patients, families, visitors and other staff utilizing Tufts Medical Center service standards.
• Communicates the patient’s clinical data, including observations, symptoms and deviations from normal to the assigned nurse in a timely manner.
• Completes mobilization documentation in the EMR in accurate and timely manner.
• Provides comfort measures such as turning and repositioning, to patients in an efficient, safe, and respectful manner.
• Assists with skin assessment and treatments within their scope and under the direction of a registered nurse.
