Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Community Medical Center, a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering world-class medical treatment with hometown care. Established in 1961, CMC features four residency programs and serves over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients, and 73,700 emergency patients annually.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred:

• Previous nursing assistant or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Scheduling Requirements:

• Night shift, 36 hours per week, 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Essential Functions:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care including phlebotomy and EKGs
• Deliver patient care tailored to age-specific needs, ensuring safety and effectiveness
• Communicate effectively with patients and nursing staff regarding patient care
• Participate in developing and implementing the patient's plan of care from admission to discharge
