Job summary

Hcshiring is seeking candidates for a caregiver/health aide role in a senior living setting. The position runs 2pm-10:30pm and involves maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, and supporting staff and residents with daily tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least two years of geriatric or health experience, and CPR/First Aid knowledge. English communication skills are essential; weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written).
• Ability to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Initiate the medical record for new resident admissions per guidelines and upload into electronic systems.
• Assist with scheduling in-house/outsider medical appointments.
• Assist with scheduling and tracking of monthly staff trainings.
• Participate in CPR/First Aid Instructor training and provide trainings as needed for staff.
• Assist with interviewing and onboarding of staff.

Job Responsibilities

• Initiate the medical record for all newresident admissions in accordance with the current state, federal and localguidelines and uploading the documents into our electronic documentationsystems
• Assist with scheduling in-house/outsidemedical appointments
• Assist with the scheduling and tracking ofmonthly staff trainings

• Assist with interviewing and onboarding of staff

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and be atleast 21 years of age with at least two years’ experience in a geriatricsetting and previous health experience in hospital and/or community setting.
• Certificates/ Licenses: Current Driver’sLicense, C.N.A. or Medication Technician preferred. CPR and First Aidpreferred.
• Working knowledge of computer systems toinclude Word and Excel.
