Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for the Progressive Care Unit. You will deliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordinate all unit functions in partnership with the management team to monitor nursing care in line with policies.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize admissions and discharges, support improved patient outcomes, provide coaching and training to staff, and help schedule coverage while upholding exceptional

Qualifications

• BCLS certification obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN license must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• BSN is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year RN PCU experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize and deliver high quality, patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Support improved outcomes and service with leadership and subject matter experts.
• Provide coaching, feedback and training to improve performance and engagement.

You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Associate Degree

• 1 year RN PCU experience in an acute care setting
