Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Winchester Hospital is seeking a Clinical Associate to support patient care in a 223-bed regional hospital in the northwest Boston suburbs. The role involves night shifts (3,12-hour nights per week) with every-other-weekend and holiday rotations, under nursing supervision.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, collect specimens, and help with beds and transports, while meeting safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living.
• Repositioning and ambulating patients.
• Making occupied and unoccupied beds.
• Transporting patients, beds, supplies and equipment.
• Collecting, labeling and transporting specimens.
• Retrieving and signing out blood products.
• Performing point of care testing.
• Obtaining vital signs and weights.
• Maintaining intake and output records.
• Removing Foley catheters and saline locks.
