Job summary

Aurora Health Care Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support daily patient care under RN supervision. You will assist with bathing, feeding, mobility, monitoring vitals, and documentation in the EMR.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation; documents in EMR.
• Participates in admission, transfer and discharge processes under supervision of RN.
• Performs purposeful rounding and communicates observations to RN.
• Maintains patient safety and proper handling of supplies and equipment.
• Coordinates tests and treatments with other departments and documents orders.
• Facilitates communications and answers call lights; maintains courtesy in patient interactions.
• Establishes and maintains positive customer relations and adheres to department policies.
