Job summary

Medix in Greendale, Wisconsin, is seeking a Clinical Cardiac Sonographer to support the Cardiac Imaging division. You will perform full transthoracic echocardiography and prepare studies for physician review, using 2-D imaging, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler.

The role requires current state licensure, RDCS or RCS credentialing, BLS, and at least two years as an imaging tech. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with duties including accurate data entry and patient prep.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure including RDMS and BLS certification.
• Credentialed as RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI).
• Minimum of 2 years as an Imaging Tech.

• Prepare preliminary reports for physician review
• Utilize ultrasound enhancing agents and perform saline contrast studies as needed

Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Cardiac Imaging, the Cardiac Sonographer is a critical member of the care team. This role is responsible for preparing patients and diagnostic equipment for imaging procedures and performing full transthoracic echocardiography procedures.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Location: Will float betweenfour locations in Milwaukee,WI
