Job Title: Clinical Business Operations Associate (II)

Location: Remote or Hybrid (San Diego, CA or Morristown, NJ)

Position Overview:

Seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Business Operations Associate to support invoice management, contract coordination, and financial processes for global Clinical Operations. This role plays a key part in streamlining invoice review/approval and ensuring alignment with contract terms and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage invoice review, tracking, and approval processes in coordination with contract owners
• Resolve invoice disputes and collaborate with Finance/AP for timely payments
• Maintain and reconcile POs; ensure compliance with contract terms
• Track and report contract status updates to study teams
• Liaise with internal teams (Clinical Ops, Legal, Finance, Procurement) and external vendors
• Support additional administrative and financial tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounting, finance, or contract management experience in biotech/pharma/CRO
• Understanding of vendor agreements and payment processes
• Strong Excel and system skills (e.g., contract/financial management tools)
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently
• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
