Job summary

The Tissue Bank Coordinator at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus performs clinical research tasks related to patient-oriented studies, including recruitment, consent, data capture, and coordination across clinical teams. Open Rank, from Entry to Senior, with onsite work and potential flexible arrangements after six months based on performance.

This role supports hematology research within the Blood Cancer Program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; substitution allowed with related experience on a year-for-year basis.
• One year clinical research or related experience for higher levels; more for senior.
• Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.

Responsibilities

• Screen and enroll prospective subjects, review inclusion/exclusion criteria.
• Obtain informed consent and document it properly.
• Coordinate scheduling and resources for studies (physician, nurse, lab, imaging).
• Record data on CRFs and in trial databases accurately.
• Report adverse events to PI, sponsor and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain age-appropriate care and participate in DSMC audits.
• Assist with study monitoring visits and sponsor communications.
