University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a Tissue Bank Coordinator to perform clinical research-related tasks, including subject screening, consent documentation, and data handling. The role supports various studies within the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology, with in-person duties and after a probationary period performance-based flexibility.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree with experience in clinical research, regulatory compliance, and data capture systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or substitute education/experience on a year-for-year basis.
• 1 year of clinical research or related experience at minimum.
• Two years of clinical research or related experience for senior level.
• Preferred: three years of clinical research or related experience.
• Experience with electronic data capture systems (EMR/EHR) and data management systems.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical history and current medications; assess eligibility.
• Ensure informed consent process is documented and filed.
• Interview prospective subjects and educate about the study.
• Schedule participation and coordinate clinical support and spaces.
• Maintain study records and CRFs; ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Report adverse events to PI, sponsor, FDA, and DSMC.
• Serve as contact for ongoing studies and onboarding of staff.
