Job summary

Brainlab seeks a Biomedical Engineer (Clinical Specialist) to provide on-site consulting for physicians and OR teams, optimizing Brainlab products during surgeries. You will manage install bases, analyze issues via Salesforce, and contribute to product improvements.

The role requires healthcare technical support and sales experience, with a focus on excellent stakeholder communication. Based in the Durham, NC area, the position is full-time in a hospital/clinical setting.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, or Nursing required.
• 1-3 years minimum experience in a technical support role preferably for a healthcare company or Provider.
• 1-2 years minimum sales experience with healthcare company preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site consulting and guidance to physicians and OR personnel during surgery to maximize Brainlab product usage.
• Manage and maintain install base, including basic 3rd party integrations.
• Analyze and resolve product issues for Brainlab systems via Salesforce with detailed analysis and documentation.
• Contribute to quality improvement through product modification recommendations.
• Educate/train physicians and hospital staff on Image Guided Surgery (IGS) products and services.
