Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related behavioral science.
• Licensed Professional Counselor or Mental Health Professional credentials in the state(s) listed.
• CADC or equivalent or three years of substance use counseling experience.
• Minimum of two years clinical supervisory/mentoring experience and/or Michigan 45 Hour Supervisor Training with ACS within six months.
• Experience with CARF Accreditation and Standards review preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, coordination, evaluation, coaching, and development of staff; interview, hire, orient, and train employees.
• Supervise tribal community clinic behavioral health staff including scheduling, productivity, and performance expectations.
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for SUD programs with evidence-based practices.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and report breaches; monitor treatment services and no-show/cancellation issues.
• Collaborate with integrated treatment teams and medical staff for health integration.
• Maintain an active caseload and ensure scheduling and documentation in EPIC.
• Monitor referral lists and provide guidance to underperforming staff; participate in quality improvement activities.
• Assist with grant-related information gathering, proposals, and compliance requirements.
