Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a Clinical Auditor for the Cath Lab & Electrophysiology Lab. This full-time, day-shift role audits cardiovascular procedure charges, reviews EPIC documentation, and helps ensure accurate charge capture and regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have RCIS/RCES/ARRT or RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, HS diploma, and 2+ years Cath lab experience. The position collaborates with lab leadership and hospital management to improve documentation and revenue integrity.

Qualifications

• RCIS or RCES or ARRT with CI or VI or RN license; BLS and ACLS required.
• High School diploma or GED; accredited allied health program preferred.
• Two years Cath lab experience required.

Responsabilités

• Audits cardiovascular procedural charges to ensure correct billing and documentation in EPIC.
• Reviews daily EMR for accuracy of implants, surgical and recovery time stamps.
• Investigates charges for EPIC charting and inventory accuracy; submits adjustments as needed.
• Proposes corrective action in charge capture and conducts in-service trainings.
• Prepares monthly reports on revenue, charge capture, documentation, and cost effectiveness.
• Maintains Cath Lab/EP lab x-ray and hemodynamic systems; assists with upgrades and repairs.
• Performs implant registry entries and post-procedure patient follow-up calls for same-day discharge.
