Job summary

Henry Ford Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for the Cath Lab to support its Cardiac Catheterization department in Detroit, MI. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality, compassionate care using the nursing process, with leadership in patient care delivery.

The ideal candidate has Cardiac Catheterization/Cath Lab experience, ECMO experience, Structural Heart experience, and ICU background.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Michigan RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• ICU/critical care experience required.
• ECMO experience required.
• Structural Heart experience required.
• Cath Lab/Cardiac Catheterization experience strong.
• Excellent clinical knowledge and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care.
• Supervise and delegate nursing duties as appropriate.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate with care team.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team.
• Identify variances and participate in improvement plans.
• Support patients undergoing cath lab and structural heart procedures.
• Apply critical-care nursing knowledge for high-acuity patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation per policy.
