Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking a Training Specialist for the Clinical Chart Validation training team. You will plan, develop, and deliver technical training, mentoring, and assessments to boost audit productivity and client satisfaction.

Collaborate with SMEs across audit teams to validate workflows, deliver sessions (classroom, online, webinars), and coach new members. Focus on Outpatient and Specialty audits, including SNF/IRF/HH, DME, Hospice, and medical necessity.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's in Nursing, Healthcare Economics, Health Information Management, and/or Business preferred, or 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in SNF, IRF, and HH settings preferred.
• Coding certification required (CCS, CPC, etc.); CCDS holders considered with certification within 6 months.
• 5–7+ years of broad medical claims, billing/payment systems, payer policies, and coding terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver technical training, mentoring, and assessments.
• Deliver training sessions via classroom, online, and webinar formats; coach others.
• Partner with SMEs to validate workflows and improve audit productivity.
• Train on outpatient and specialty audits including SNF, IRF, HH, DME, Hospice, and medical necessity.
• Support quality reviews and provide feedback to improve audit rationales.
