Job summary

Clay Consulting, LLC seeks an Audiologist to perform clinical audiology testing for claimants in-office using advanced equipment. You will administer air and bone conduction, speech tests, otoscopic exams, and cerumen management while reviewing medical records and VBA/DMA guidelines.

The role requires state licensure, a Master’s or AuD, proficiency with electronic medical records, HIPAA confidentiality, and strong communication. Continued education and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology.
• State licensure as an Audiologist.
• Experience with computerized charting at the time of visit.
• Typing at least 35 words per minute.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• One year experience performing clinical audiology testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret tests to determine type and degree of hearing impairment (air and bone conduction, speech tests).
• Evaluate results relative to medical records to determine cause, prognosis and plan.
• Operate computerized programs and enter data into EMR and report-writing formats.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Conduct otoscopic exams, cerumen management, and calibration checks of audiometric equipment.
• Review claimant records as needed.
• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement activities.
• Meet clients’ quality and submission time requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
