Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an Audiologist for St. Rita's Medical Center in Ohio. The role focuses on diagnosing, treating, and managing hearing and balance disorders, with responsibilities spanning comprehensive testing, device fitting, and patient education.

You will collaborate with ENT and speech-language colleagues, maintain records, and participate in community hearing health initiatives. Licensure in the state is required; MS is necessary with AuD preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed audiologist in the state of practice is required.
• ASHA or ABA certification preferred.
• MS in Audiology required; AuD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive audiological assessments (pure-tone, tympanometry, OAE, ABR) to assess hearing and balance.
• Fit and program hearing aids and cochlear implants; discuss costs with patients.
• Evaluate balance disorders and provide interventions.
• Collaborate with otolaryngologists, speech-language pathologists and others to develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families about hearing/balance disorders and assistive tech.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with regulations.
• Participate in hearing screenings, seminars, and community events.
• Provide additional services (UNHS, intra-operative monitoring) as needed.
