Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Audiology.
• State licensure as an Audiologist.
• Experience with computerized charting at the time of visit.
• Typing at least 35 words per minute.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Preferred: one year of clinical audiology testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment.
• Evaluate results in relation to medical records and determine prognosis and causes of hearing loss.
• Operate EMR software and databases for data entry and reporting.
• Maintain patient confidentiality under HIPAA.
• Conduct otoscopic exams, cerumen management, and equipment calibration checks.
• Review claimant records as needed.
• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement activities.
• Meet clients' quality and submission time requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
