Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology required.
• State licensure as an Audiologist required.
• Experience with computerized charting in clinical settings.
• Typing proficiency of at least 35 WPM.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret audiology tests (air/bone conduction, speech tests) to assess hearing impairment.
• Evaluate test results against medical records to determine prognosis and cause of hearing loss.
• Enter and retrieve patient data in EMR systems; generate reports.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Conduct otoscopic exams, cerumen management, and calibration checks of equipment.
• Review claimant records; participate in QA and continuing education.
