Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute is hiring a full-time Clinical Athletic Trainer for the Chicago Park Ridge, Glenview, and Morton Grove locations. The ATC works with board-certified orthopedic physicians to deliver musculoskeletal care, coordinate diagnostics, and educate patients throughout recovery.

You will perform histories, musculoskeletal evaluations, assist with procedures, and help manage care across the continuum, emphasizing patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from CAATE-accredited Athletic Training Program required.
• Master's degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, Exercise Science, or related healthcare field preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical ATC obtains and documents comprehensive patient histories and functional limitations.
• Perform musculoskeletal evaluations including ROM, strength testing, neurovascular assessment, and special tests.
• Assist Orthopedic physicians with examinations, treatment planning, and follow-up care.

Education

Bachelor's degree from a CAATE-accredited Athletic Training Program

Master's degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, Exercise Science, or related healthcare field preferred
