Job summary

ATvantage LLC is seeking a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) for a flexible Core Coverage role in the San Diego region. This part-time opportunity offers up to 30 hours per week providing primary medical coverage for games, tournaments, and high-risk practices in secondary school athletics.

The on-site clinician will manage acute injuries, illnesses, and emergencies, perform triage and return-to-play decisions, and communicate updates to coaches, parents, and school personnel.

Qualifications

• BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with eligibility to practice in California.
• Current CPR/AED certification and Mandated Reporter Training.
• Strong independent decision-making and acute care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical coverage for scheduled games, tournaments, and high-risk practices.
• Serve as the on-site healthcare professional for acute injuries, illnesses, and emergencies.
• Evaluate and triage injuries, making immediate return-to-play and referral decisions.
• Communicate injury updates with coaches, parents, and school personnel.
