Qualifications
- MFA and/or equivalent professional experience in Entertainment Design, Design and Technology, Theater Design, Media Design, Video Production, Lighting Design, or related field.
- Significant professional experience in video projection design, video production, or related areas.
- Teaching experience at undergraduate/graduate level with mentorship.
- Distinguished professional work in the candidate’s specialization.
- Experience with current industry-standard software and production workflows.
Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor graduate students through academics and production.
- Develop curricular plans with program colleagues.
- Contribute to curriculum and program design in emerging media and projection technologies.
- Guide students in creating professional portfolios and design practices.
- Integrate professional tools and workflows into graduate teaching and production.
- Collaborate across disciplines to enable interdisciplinary design experiences.
- Support experiential labs connecting graduate study with professional practice.
- Engage with industry professionals through workshops and masterclasses.
- Participate in student recruitment and outreach for the MFA program.
- Contribute to academic and professional service within the college and university.
