Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Clinical Associate at Winchester Hospital, a Magnet-designated, 223-bed regional hospital serving northwest suburban Boston.

You will work under a nurse and perform essential activities of daily living support, patient safety tasks, vital signs, specimen handling, and basic care to improve patient comfort and satisfaction. Strong communication and reliability are required. Training through the Winchester Hospital CATP will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Must have/BLS certification is required for role.
• Excellent reading, writing and communication with patients and team.

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living
• Reposition and ambulate patients
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds
• Transport patients, beds, supplies and equipment
• Collect, label and transport specimens
• Retrieve and sign out blood products
• Perform point of care testing
• Obtain vital signs and weights
• Maintain intake and output measurements
• Remove Foley catheters and saline locks
