The Clinical Assistant is responsible for providing patient care in the clinic and related administrative duties.

This is a part-time (0.9 FTE) position working variable hours M-F at our Maple Grove, Plymouth, and Robbinsdale clinics, including evenings and weekends in our Orthopedic Urgent Cares as needed.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices owned and led by physicians, dedicated to giving patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare, stock, and clean exam rooms
• Room patients and prepare for exams
• Maintain efficient clinical flow
• Gather and verify patient information; compile medical data
• Assist with documentation into electronic health records
• Prepare for injections, change dressings, apply medical equipment, remove sutures/staples under provider supervision
• Apply and remove casts
• Ensure coding requirements are followed during data entry
• Act as a prescribing delegate for medical orders under provider supervision
• Support multiple specialties as needed
• Assist Care Coordinator, manage medical supplies, and respond to patient calls, documenting all interactions

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Athletic Trainer (AT-C), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or equivalent experience preferred
• Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology required
• Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and assessments preferred
