The Department of Social Work and Anthropology at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for a 9‑month Clinical Assistant Professor of Social Work to begin January 2027 (preferred) or August 2027. We are expanding our BSW Program to include an online options therefore, candidates must be willing to teach both online and in‑person courses. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to social work education, social justice, field education, and service, especially community service. Responsibilities

Duties for this appointment include teaching core and elective undergraduate Social Work courses, in particular practice courses, maintaining a productive community‑involvement agenda, retention and recruitment efforts, professional advising for online and on‑campus students, assisting with maintaining the program’s accreditation, and adding to the service mission of the campus.
