The Department of Pediatrics at USC's Keck School of Medicine and the Division of Critical Care Medicine at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) are actively seeking a full-time Pediatric Intensivist for the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Clinician Educator).
We seek a pediatric intensivist to join our faculty providing care at our 24-bed PICU at CHLA. The role includes in-house coverage 24/7 on a rotating basis. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, with experience or potential for scholarly contributions in research, quality improvement, or education.
The division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine is part of the Department of Pediatrics at KSOM and the Department of Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine at CHLA. The department impacts children's care through various services, including anesthesia, intensive care, pain management, and palliative care, with significant clinical activity and research in respiratory physiology, informatics, and outcomes.
The department trains nearly 250 trainees annually across various programs, including ACGME-accredited fellowships in Critical Care Medicine, Pediatric Anesthesiology, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Pain Medicine, and Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia, as well as non-accredited programs.
