The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of USC and Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) are seeking a full-time faculty member for the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Clinician Educator) in the Division of Hematology-Oncology.
The division at CHLA within USC's Department of Pediatrics is recruiting an Assistant Professor specializing in Classical Hematology. The candidate will hold a primary appointment in the Department of Pediatrics at USC at the Assistant Professor level. Responsibilities include providing clinical care with the Hematology service, and dedicating time to research and education. Preferred candidates will have at least 1 year post-fellowship experience and an interest in areas such as Sickle Cell Disease, thalassemia, iron disorders, red cell disorders, bone marrow failure, coagulation, or other non-malignant hematology domains.
CBDI is the pediatric component of the USC-Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, a top-ranked pediatric hematology-oncology program serving a diverse patient population. It hosts an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Fellowship and advanced subspecialty fellowships. The institute is ranked in the top ten pediatric cancer programs by U.S. News & World Report since 2008. It supports active clinical trials in hematology, oncology, and BMT, providing unique research opportunities.
CHLA is a premier pediatric teaching hospital affiliated with USC since 1932, the oldest private research university in the Western U.S. and among the top in the nation.
The annual base salary range for this position is $95,904 - $325,712. USC considers various factors when extending employment offers, including experience, education, skills, and market considerations.
